Sleigh Bells in the Snow, my new Christmas romance, is here!
It's thrilling to have it out in the world and to hear from readers who have
really enjoyed the story.
Sleigh Bells in the Snow is a sweet romance, meaning that if
it was a movie it would be rated PG. (Or even just G!) It's the story of
Scarlett Ray, who owns a home decor shop in the sweet Christmas-obsessed town
of Christmas Town, Maine. She receives an eviction notice from her new
landlord, Chase Bailey, and sparks fly between these two completely different
people, who, it turns out, have a lot to learn from each other.
Throw in the merry and bright ambiance of Christmas Town, a
corgi named Holly with a vast collection of Christmas sweaters, some family
drama and a vivid supporting cast, and you have a fun, heartwarming, holiday
romance!
Sleigh Bells in the Snow is a part of the 12 Days of
Heartwarming Christmas sweet romance series. These are 12 connected full-length
novels, all set in the fictional world of Christmas Town, Maine. Harlequin
Heartwarming authors created Christmas Town and have been writing in it for five
years now.
This year was my first time writing in Christmas Town. I'd
read some of the stories before, so I was excited to be asked to join this
year's group of authors. It was really fun to set a novel in this quirky,
festive town!
Six books (including mine) center around planning a
Christmas Eve wedding. Six books center around the renovation of the Christmas
Town carousel where the wedding will take place. All 12 stories end at that
Christmas Eve wedding!
Scarlett Ray owns a
home décor shop full of Christmas cheer, but she isn’t feeling much holiday
spirit. Her to-do list is overwhelming and it’s tough to navigate the first
Christmas since her parents’ divorce. Then she learns that her landlord is
planning to tear down the beautiful, historic building where she lives and
works!
Chase Bailey hates to
remove such a great looking building, but it’s falling apart and beyond repair.
Plus, he needs to turn a profit so he can start a trust fund for his autistic
brother. His decision seems simple until Chase meets his quirky, fiery tenant.
Scarlett swears she’ll challenge him every step of the way to save the old
building she loves.
Chase and Scarlett
gear up for a fight, but the battle lines get blurry when they find themselves
working on the same volunteer project. It’s hard to stay enemies when anger
becomes friendship, and friendship feels a lot like love.

Congrats on the book release, love that adorable cover! Thank you for adding another holiday story to my tbr list - I never say no to holiday stories, lol. :)
ReplyDeleteChurch Christmas Eve ... followed by a late supper at a neighbour's party ... followed by later drinks at another neighbour's house. (So I guess you could say being with family, as all three of these activities qualify....)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, thank you for writing a holiday story. I can't get enough of these feel-good stories - I enjoy them ANY time of year.
I always love Christmas stories! My favorite part of Christmas is that it brings about people I don't get to see often during the year. It's the perfect excuse to have a night of fun and love!! That's also why I just love Christmas reads.
ReplyDeleteMost... I enjoy sitting back and just looking at my Christmas tree lights. I like to turn off all the lights in the house and have no noise.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that cover... so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the decorations, the music, the yummy baked goods, the smiles on Christmas Day, the smell of the Christmas tree... :)

ReplyDeleteI love decorating the house for Christmas, inside and out. I especially like seeing the tree with twinkling lights.

ReplyDeleteHi -- since I'm a Muslim I don't really have anything to do with Christmas. BUT, I do love to read all the stories or watching movie that has holiday-themed to it :). Congrats on your book, by the way.
ReplyDeleteI love decorating for Christmas and singing carols!! And really, just everything about it including holiday reads.
