Congratulations to "Laney4", the winner in Hayson's giveaway. Thank you to all who participated!
Zan moved his head left then right. “A heads up. Guys say stuff
like they have inner thoughts they want to write down in a journal, pretty much
for one reason only.”

Thank you for having me here today
at Just Contemporary Romance.
Disclaimer. I have never been a CEO. Shock! When I was writing Taming the CEO
both Daisy and Zan are CEO’s vying for a chain of hotels in St. Maarten. I adore a strong, alpha male,
and I love an equally strong woman
who knows what she wants and goes for it. Oh, did I say Daisy and Zan hate each
other? Their family feud rivals the
Hatfield and McCoy’s. Add some building tension, and a challenge where they
have to be handcuffed together, revenge and these two will fight it out until
the end, but there can only be one winner.
Excerpt:

Daisy’s face was now bright red, her back straight, and her
chin jutted, and in true Daisy style, she stepped farther into his space. It
should be illegal how freaking good she smelled.
She rolled her eyes. “You’re saying guys make up stuff they
think women want to hear to slide into their pants?”
He smiled at the sarcasm.
Time to defuse the situation.
“Well, yeah, it’s been pretty much that way since Clovis the
Caveman caught sight of Clovista the Cavewoman, and tried to pick her up caveman
style and throw her over his shoulder, whereby Clovista
aimed a well-timed kick to his boys.” He shook his head. “Very feisty that Clovista.”
She raised her eyebrows, but some of the anger had bled from
her stance. He carried on making it up as
he went.
“Clovis tried a few more time with the same results, and it puzzled Clovis. We should note
that Clovis wasn’t the swiftest in the bunch. He did, however, note that after kneeing him in the boys, Clovista liked to pick flowers and carry them
to her lady cave.”
Daisy’s mouth dropped open,
and laughter sparkled her eyes. “Did you say lady
cave?”
A bolt of laughter shot out of him. “Yeah, totally didn’t
mean that, but that’s gold.” He shook
his head. “Anyway, one day, Clovis rose early, fed the mammoth, chewed on a
bone, then stood to wait on the path for Clovista, who duly arrived. The scowl on her
face disappeared when Clovis grunted and held out a bunch of flowers, which Clovista accepted, and the rest, as they say,
is history.” He pointed to the notepad in her hand. “What Clovis didn’t do is
chisel his feelings on a rock.”
She opened her mouth, but he held up a hand. This argument
was done. “I’m not doing it, but, I know
women are into it so go for it.”
To
save her family’s business, fledging CEO Daisy Cater must win the bid on a
resort on St. Maarten. There’s a small catch, though. The seller insists all
bidders visit the island and experience the singles retreat firsthand. This
wouldn’t be so bad…if only rule-maker Daisy weren’t paired with her bitter
rival, the hot and broody Alexander Gillard. Keeping her enemy close just
became a whole lot harder.
Alexander
“Zan” Gillard didn't expect to be partnered with gorgeous Daisy at the idyllic
singles retreat. A challenge that has them cuffed together ignites an explosive
chemistry, and soon Zan wants more than four days with this bewitching woman
who is nothing like he expected her to be.
But
their families are at odds and reality awaits them at home, along with a
betrayal that threatens to blow their newfound trust apart...

About the author:
I
love The Princess Bride, The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives—the drama is
deliciously addictive. Big Bang Theory,
but will take Wolowitz over Cooper. Star
Trek not Star Wars. Undercover Boss, Secret Millionaire—any story that shows the little guy making it. I
follow the Buffalo Bills like a religion. I am spellbound by showjumping and
equestrian eventing. I love curling up and reading all books—no genre is
off-topic. I like ironing, hate peas, love donkeys. I think I play a killer
game of Scrabble, but never win. I will often be heading towards the fridge for
another Diet Coke. I eat nothing with legs and believe wine goes with
everything, oh and I’m an expert at finding new and inventive ways to avoid
exercise.
I
live in the sparkly beachside suburb of Redondo Beach in California with my
fake Gordon Ramsay and two boys who speak in mystifying grunts.
