The
Prince’s Christmas vow

What’s so special about Christmas Romances?
I’ve got a secret to share. Come closer. A little closer.
Okay, that’s good…
Christmas romances are hands down my favorite books to read.
Pinky swear. ;-)
Why? Well, that’s a little complicated to answer, but I’ll
give it my best shot.
Christmas is my favorite holiday. It’s so much fun to give a
gift and make someone smile. Doesn’t your heart just swell when that happens?
And there’s a warmth and generosity in the air that isn’t there the other times
of the year. Combine that with a romance and magic happens. ;-)
I enjoy many genres of romance, but at the holidays, my
favorite are those romances that fill me with the warmth of the season and
leave me with hope in my heart.
I thought I’d share a few of my favorite holiday romances.
;-) They are in no particular order.

BLURB: Christmas magic in Hood Hamlet… For
Leanne, infuriatingly charming firefighter Christian Welton is out of bounds.
Not only is he too young for her, but his trail of broken hearts is legendary.
Leanne’s fought hard to be one of the boys, and won’t let anyone see that
Christian’s smile makes her want to melt into his arms! Christian wanted to
discover the softer side of the tough-talking paramedic, but hasn’t counted on
how much the real Leanne affects him. He’s vowed never to settle down, but
under the mistletoe it’s certainly the season to be tempted.…

BLURB: Josh Tanner and Maggie Thelan share
one unbreakable rule: no romantic entanglements. Period. So the lonely doctor
hiring the former teacher as a live-in nanny for his little boy shouldn't be
any kind of threat to their creed. Especially since Josh won't let go of the
past—and Maggie can't tell Josh who she really is….But rules are made to be
broken, and while Maggie only wants to know the nephew she never knew she had,
deeper feelings keep getting in the way! As the holiday season creeps closer,
his rules collide with her secret. Can their unexpected love survive the truth?

BLURB: Britt Davis is ready for the fight
of her life. Her snake of an ex-husband just filed for custody of their
nine-month-old son, and come hell or high water, she will keep her baby. But
she wouldn't have a future to give her precious Dillon if it weren't for the
stranger who risked his life to save her. Then her gratitude is shattered when
she comes face-to-face once again with her hero…her ex's lawyer? Quentin Ross
knows there's something not right about the important custody case dropped
suddenly in his lap. Who would take a baby away from his mother right before
Christmas? Now his career is on the line, but so is Britt's love and respect.
What's a hero to do?

BLURB: Lucy Bright can't believe it when
she's plucked from secretarial obscurity and transformed into the pampered
fiancée of a slick retail guru. But then she discovers it was all a publicity
stunt! Rushing away from the media frenzy, she bumps—literally—into the arms of
delicious tycoon Nathaniel Hart….Spooked by their instantaneous chemistry, Lucy
flees—but Nathaniel is determined to find his barefoot beauty. Though all he
has is one very expensive red designer stiletto to help him!

BLURB: Last Christmas Marcie Sullivan said a
final goodbye to her husband, Bobby. This Christmas she's come to Virgin River
to find the man who saved his life and gave her three more years to love him. Fellow
marine Ian Buchanan dragged Bobby's shattered body onto a medical transport in
Fallujah four years ago, then disappeared as soon as their unit arrived
stateside. Since then, Marcie's letters to Ian have gone unanswered. Marcie
tracks Ian to the tiny mountain town of Virgin River and finds a man as wounded
emotionally as Bobby was physically. But she is not easily scared off. As
Marcie pushes her way into his rugged and reclusive life, she discovers a sweet
but damaged soul beneath a rough exterior. Ian doesn't know what to make of the
determined young widow who forces him to look into the painful past and, what's
worse, the uncertain future. But it is, after all, a season of miracles and
maybe, just maybe, it's time to banish the ghosts and open his heart.
I’d
be honored if you’d consider putting my Christmas romance on your TBR list…
Excerpt
from THE PRINCE’S CHRISTMAS VOW:
Zoe jumped, almost dropping the glass ornament in her hand.
She turned to find Demetrius propped against the wall. His arms were crossed
while his facial expression was unreadable.
“I…I didn’t hear you come in.”
“Obviously. Do you want to explain all of this?”
Zoe retrieved her phone and switched off the music. “With
Christmas just around the corner, I thought you might enjoy some holiday
cheer.”
“I had no idea that you planned to redecorate the beach
house.”
“I didn’t. I mean, I’m not.” She glanced down at the
ornament in her hand. She turned to put it back in the box. So much for
surprising him.
He glanced around. His gaze paused on the pile of boxes.
“Sorry about the mess. I’ll make those boxes go away.” Zoe
worried, biting her bottom lip.
Demetrius turned to the fireplace. Now that the sun had sunk
below the horizon, the flames of the fire flickered and cast a warm glow over
the room. As the temperature rose, Demetrius discarded his suit jacket and
rolled up the sleeves of his blue Oxford shirt.
Feeling a need to explain, she said, “I thought a fire would
be nice.”
He stepped up to the tree. He reached out and touched a
glittery silver star ornament.
She swallowed hard, feeling like a kid with her hand in the
proverbial cookie jar.

BLURB:
Secretly married…to a prince!
Zoe Sarris hasn't seen Crown Prince Demetrius Castanavo since their secret elopement. So she's shocked when he requests her interior design services. She's only just pieced her broken heart back together, and seeing Demetrius—as gorgeous and guarded as ever—threatens to shatter it all over again…
However, the shocking news that they are actually still married changes everything. Especially when Demetrius reveals he wants his princess back…preferably in time for Christmas!

(No need to be entered - I've already read The Prince's Christmas Vow -- and LOVED it, as I did Book 1!) I've read a lot of holiday books, and have an extensive library of 'em; seriously. It is hard to pick one however Jennifer's #5, A Virgin River Christmas, has always tugged at my heart. Ian feels so broken and his journey gets me every time. For me, it is truly a great story.
